Pick your favorite location for litter pickup and invasive control at 4 sites around town.
1 Judkins Pond - Meet/join at Griffin Museum parking lot.
2. Behind Stop and Shop - Meet/join at parking lot on the east side of Stop and Shop
3. Elliot Park - Meet/join at Elliot Park near Wedge Pond
4. Train tracks near Winchester High School Playing Fields (Ciarcia Fields) - meet at parking lot close to tracks
(Note: if there are other areas where you'd like to work, please let the ConComm know via email below and we can make arrangements for refuse/garbage pickup.)
- Wear clothing that covers your legs, feet, and arm
- Pick up litter >>>we provide plastic gloves and garbage bags
- Cut back and remove invasive plants - identified by Conservation Commission >>>Bring pruners / loppers. We will have a few tools available
